International Music Competition 2025
1st Annual
In 2025, we proudly launched the inaugural International Outstanding Performer Music Competition (IOPMC). Thanks to the enthusiasm of our young pianists and the support of their families, the event was a resounding success. It was truly inspiring to watch each contestant take the stage and shine brilliantly.
Special thanks to our distinguished judges — Dr. Silvanio Reis, Dr. Xu Guo, and Nina Yang Zhang — and to Steinway & Sons and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts for hosting our competition and awards ceremony & concert.
After the successful conclusion of our inaugural competition, we carefully reflected on our experiences and are dedicated to delivering an even better event in the future. Our competition has since been officially renamed the Golden Melody International Music Competition.
Each year, Golden Melody awards Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes to the most outstanding first-prize winners, based on their final competition scores and performance at the awards ceremony. Recipients of these special honors receive both a scholarship and an additional trophy.
My name is Ethan Ha, and I am truly honored to receive this Golden Reward. I want to express my deepest gratitude to my piano teacher, Anny, and to my parents. Without their unconditional encouragement and support, and the rigorous training and guidance from Teacher Anny, I wouldn't have come this far. I will continue to pursue excellence on my musical journey, striving for future achievements while learning to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of music.
It's a great honor to receive this award! The sweat I shed every day while practicing the piano has taught me that passion and perseverance can truly make dreams shine. In the future, I will continue to challenge myself with more difficult pieces and use music to convey more beauty!
I am extremely humbled to be recognized by this prestigious organization. I would like to thank my teacher Xu Guo for pushing my technique and musicality to new heights. I'm glad I was able to share this performance before Chopin gave me arthritis.
I'm very happy to have won the silver award in this competition. Through this experience, I've learned so much. I want to thank the organizers for giving us the opportunity to participate, and I also want to thank my parents for their constant encouragement and support. Lastly, I want to thank my teachers Beilian Liao and Tian Lu. She was my first piano teacher and mentor. Without her guidance and teaching, I wouldn't have developed such a deep love for playing the piano.
My name is Yongqi Lei. I was captivated and hooked on piano by watching short videos of excellent pianists playing moving music. I'm grateful to my teacher Ms. Lin for her guidance and training. I'm so happy to have made such great progress and gained so much in just one year! My achievements and passion for piano will keep me striving. I hope to improve even more under Ms. Lin's excellent guidance, and have the opportunity to perform on a bigger stage and share even more beautiful and moving music with others!
This year, I won a silver prize in the piano competition. I'm proud of my effort and truly grateful to my family and teacher. Their support inspires me to keep improving.

Hello everyone, my name is Michelle. I am 6 years old. I'm very happy to receive an award in this piano competition! First, I want to thank my teacher Ms. Anny for her guidance, and I'm very grateful for her care and support. I also want to thank my mom and dad for their encouragement! In the new year, I will work even harder and strive for even better results!
